Who has a copy of the re-issue of any of these titles from both DCC Compact Classics and from Analogue Productions?

Whose re-issue do you prefer to listen to? Why?

What are the sonic pros and cons of each re-issue?

I have three Doors titles on DCC. I did a comparison with Strange Days as I have both. To my ears I prefer the DCC because it is a little warmer sounding. The AP version is very appealing also but sounds cleaner and more detailed and dynamic, but can sound a little hard in comparison to the DCC. DCC are 33 RPM and AP are 45.

I think you are referring only to vinyl, but I have some DCC gold CDs That I also have as AP SACD/CDs. To my ear the DCCs sound better.

Was DCC warmer on all three of the Doors titles you have?

It's been a while since I have listened to them. But my guess is yes. I only have Strange Days to make the comparison with AP though.

Thank you.

Also, the DCC s/t Doors comes from the master tape but the AP used a copy due to the master being worn out.
I love the DCC Doors titles on LP and CD but only compared CD to the AP SACD. The first album sounds more saturated and tangible on DCC.
