Twenty-five days and it's Christmas. Black Friday is gone, the Nightmare before Christmas (Halloween) is gone, Cyber Monday (today) is gone, now we're slowly getting ready for that tree, the Christmas tree, and with it all what it truly means. ...The place where you put the gifts under, the decorations, the lights and the fake snow and the angels sing.
You can put the nativity there too, with Marie, Joseph, the three mouseketeers, and the star above and the little baby Jesus in his wooden berceau. ...The small animals, troubadours of the time. Christmas music is coming too.
Me, I lost the effervescence a long time ago; circumstances killed my spirit forever. I'm done with the decadence of the human empire; this is the time for the new children, the newborns and the young ones. It's life, and there are 7.35 billion people on Earth.
Last night I watched this ::
Based on a true story. The Du Pont family is one the five richest/most powerful families of the entire world.
______
That Du Pont guy, John du Pont, he's a strange animal. But he's not the only one strange rich guy; Donald Trump, Georges Bush, tra-la-la ...the list will fill the museum of the strangest human animals of the planet.
Anyway the film is reasonably sync with the real events from what the director could possibly do with it (some stuff had to be tweaked around in time), the actor's performances look convincing enough, and the entire "slab" is one of of the strangest swimming pools around...way of speech, depending of people's own point of view on all this affair and the sports funding. ...Yeah, sports.
What this film did to me is to research. To research above and below the boundaries of the human's capitulation.
Many of you have already saw it, and others not; last night I just did. And before and after I did I was goggling around, and learning more about it and beyond.
Overall score (film only): 70 ...Technically (picture & sound) it is fine.
...Outside the film and in real life surrounding the events: Strange fascination on human behavioral condition.
Last word(s): @ the end he lost his cool (he didn't have anymore), and it's amazing what money can save you from and how he was perceived by the police who wouldn't arrest him in his own house. You have to search for what he did and got away with! ...All because he could afford the best lawyers money can buy.
If you think that there is justice on this planet think again.
