...depending on your era and club, it could be:
---KC & the Sunshine Band - Get Down Tonight
---AWB - Pick up the Pieces
---Ohio Players - Brick House
---Black Cherry - Play That Funky Music
--Vicky Sue Robinson - Turn the Beat Around (100% dance vibe super-charger circa '76).
---and for the ladies, a little Gino Vanelli
I had better stop...

Hello I was a DJ on nyc back in the oh oh days
looks wonderful. Name some great tracks please. I’ve forgotten so many great memories
Hi there Mr. DJ - Alrainbow,

Japp - it sure was some great memories back in those days. I was a DJ too in the end of the 80’s and I sure miss that time.
The album I was playing while taking the disco-photos of my room was ”A Love Trilogy” with Donna Summer and the first side of the record - ”Try Me, I Know We Can Make It”.

All the best

if you like Donna Summer I’m sure like this one too. I don’t know who cut it but sounds great. Try to get an original US pressing

There were only a handful who toured clubs and have large events. while Donna summers and later Madonna did this the tramps were first amd
Best live act I felt
The drummer invented the high hat sound that is the hall mark of disco
Not soul not rock not anything but pure disco in genre
I wonder what genre disco actually is or was. can someone comment please.
the drummer died poor in a nursing home last I read.
