Esoteric vs Accuphase CD Players

Which CD players from these two companies have you owned and what are your experiences with them?

I’ve owned Accuphase dp-70v, dp-85 and lastly 900/901 combination.
Whilst working overseas and my ex-wife selling the latter, I started with an esoteric k01 and have a k-01xd with rubidium clock.
Both are excellent manufacturers, but wish Accuphase would make silver facias!Never had an issue with any of them and always satisfied with the sound quality. Esoteric now make their own dac’s and previous comments about a harsh and clinical sound (not having personally found this to be true on what I have personally owned) has certainly been iradicated (if it ever existed at all!)
