I've been very close to that when I lived in Montreal. In fact, I think I may have been once while in Moncton,NB. I was there on business and got stuck for 3 days. There was no way in and out of the city...the snowfall was that severe. Good thing the Hotel had a few restaurants and a couple of bars!

With the windchill it reached -51°C that day. I believe it was the coldest day ever recorded in Winnipeg..

Have Ford as the goal keeper. He can cover the whole thing by just sitting in front of it.
 
and Punch Imlach was the coach and Johnny Bower was the oldest goal tender in the world at 42 with his backup Terry Sawchuck not much younger. Leafs haven't even been in the playoffs since then IIRC

I've always been a die-hard Habs fan, but Johnny Bower was my favourite goalie. Met him several times many years ago and he's the most likable chap you could ever meet.
