In know they are prettier with the screens on, but R2D2 sounds much better naked !:p The "attack" setting on the bass jumpers will give you the tighter more exiting bass.

Your right side looks like it is open into a hallway. Left looks normal. From what I understand that won't work with MBL's

Both sides need to be identical to a solid sidewall

Finally taking the plunge into network streaming, with this EMM Labs NS1.
Proprietary optical cable to my DV2 Preamp/DA.

How is the sound coming along ? Have you found a good placement for the speakers ? How far from the front wall did the tweeters end up ?

Thanks, Guys.

Current positioning is :
47" out from Front wall
40" from side wall
Spacing is 105" (approx. equilateral triangle listening position)
Speakers are toed-in to face listener.

A couple of things that helped with bass response was :
Plugging amps directly into wall outlet.
Removing corner tube traps.
Switching speaker jumper to Attack position.

Overall imaging is getting better, as well as the lower bass response.
I do have to admit I miss the incredible low end foundation of my past Evolution Acoustics MM3 speakers, with their internal (4) 15" subwoofers.
At a later date I may explore incorporating 1 or 2 subwoofers to satisfy my itch.
More to come later!

Very much the same distances i have when i use the internal bass drivers. I recommend trying no toe in also, it won’t change the center imaging to much unless you are sitting really close , but is best for bass integration in my system. Maybe because of the front ports being the only place the low bass exits the speaker.

Hi -
I just connected the NS1 this week and have it running in.
Using my iPad to control selections.
Seems to work seamlessly and sounds great thru the EMM Labs glass cable.
I never tried anything else and am a newbie to streaming - Using Qobuz.
Thanks,
Gregg

New Audioquest Niagara 5000 and a few AQ power cords.
Because you can never have enough clean, quiet power!

@gfroman Thanks for pictures. Are you using AQ Dragons on with the M925s? Are you plugging the M925s in to the AQ 5000?
Currently using -
Hurricane HC 20amp cords on the Rowland 925's (currently plugged into Niagara 5000)
Dragon HC feeding the Niagara 5000.
Dragon Source feeding the DA/Preamp
Firebird HC feeding the Uptone linear power supply for Mac mini
Hurricane HC feeing EMM NC1
Wild feeding REL subwoofer

A few audio tweaks this weekend.

Upgraded my main dedicated power line with a new 30amp circuit breaker.
Cleaned all contacts and added Silver Conductive Grease to contacts.

Gigafoil filter and custom silver ethernet cable to the EMM Labs NS1.
Powering Gigafoil with my Uptone JS-2 Linear Power Supply.

Added upgraded Morrow REL subwoofer cable and Purist Audio Design DOMINUS power cord to REL 212SE subwoofer.

Installed AddPower Sorcer 2 to adjacent power conditioner outlet, added upgraded Audioquest Hurricane HC power cord.

Those all seem like great upgrades!

Are you able to hear a difference between the before and after of this collection of tweaks? What sonic differences do you hear?

Thanks, Ron.
I will let the System settle a little, then do some critical listening this weekend.
In hindsight, I'm sure I should have added each tweak separately but what the hell!
