We like "Goliath" but you have to be a Billy Bob Thorton fan...

My wife and I just started watching Goliath on your recommendation, jazdoc. The first two episodes are awesome. I like Thorton, and love William Hurt, very sinister. Should be a fun watch over the rest of the Summer. Sure miss the olympics, tour de France, Wimbledon.

Seasons one and two were the best. Season 3 it went downhill although the season finale caught me by surprise

Season 3 is different...but I still liked it quite a bit. I see they are doing a season 4...

The Leftovers has been trying - season 2 is better but then gives you the BS "international spy" episode to ruin the flow. there were 2-3 episodes more interesting than anything season 1 tried to convey.

8 eps of Season 3, then onward. i've heard its quite good.

After 3 seasons fox sold off Lucifer to Netflix, the 4th season by Netflix is awful.

But still, 45 very enjoyable episodes before it sold off

Started season 2 of Umbrella Academy. It’s ok. Number 1 is annoying and non-sensical.
Even though season 1 was annoying and nonsensical you reached season 2? This is like upgrading in hifi of a brand you don't like

Grey's Anatomy. I don't know why nobody mentioned this series. 15 seasons of surprises in life of surgeons. It is the greatest show to me. So many great characters. Fun. Laugh, tears, raise many issues to think about. Just a lot of varieties. Remind me many things to do in life. Show me how beautiful Seattle is. Funny I thought wow this is a great place to be, then the thought of so many accidents and unfortunate events happened in the movie just kicked in.

It's a terrific show. Season 5 is the final one so easy to predict where things are going

Ozark took a while to get going but season 3 was epic. We almost gave up, too. Glad we stuck with it.

Can't wait for season 4....whenever that will be.
when people ask to describe Ozark I ask if they liked Breaking Bad as if so, they'll also like Ozark

finally our favorite show presently is Yellowstone. The season finale was this past weekend and was truly an epic cliff hanger

If you have nothing to do, have a look at it.

If you liked Succession you'll like this one

Let me share my (long) list , starting with non Anglo-Saxon TV shows :
- Call My Agent. French comedy . Quite fun with French “VIP” on each episode.
- The Bureau. The French version of Homeland. More “realistic”, more talking, less action and cliffhangers. The french way...Excellent performance of M.Kassovitz
- Spiral . Police/justice
- Baron Noir: the French version of House of cards.
More “realistic”, more talking, less action and cliffhangers. The french way...

Let’s go in Italy:
- Gomorrah
- Corleone . The crazy story of the mafia boss Toto Riina
- The best of youth . Drama.

Spain :
- Money heist

Germany/Holland:
- Undercover. Police
- Dark. Sci-fi

To be continued...
