You know damn well a statement like that isn't all inclusive. There's no reason to pepper the whole thread before you even ask a question.
This is not a loaded question: is your thread's intention to offer examples of 'flow' and 'continuity' in music performance primarily, or is it about equipment character, or both? Could you find a symphonic example?
Your comment was totally out of whack that the reason for the sound is simply belt.
De Vito Bach sounded great on headphones. What is the amp with the 833 tube? Does not look exactly like the big Wavac.
Why are you listening through your Samsung? Listen with headphones from your laptop or stream from phone to small speakers
That's what I did, listen with headphones from laptop. The sound still sucks.
In your case it is not the ears, but space between them that is the issue
If you want to learn instead of argue, you can

I think idlers tend to flow more so than belts as a whole. Possibly their known drive that assists with this.

I had heard amazing flow on the direct drive at Mike's, I felt like I should keep spinning LPs. It is just good set up and I am sure most belt fans think direct drives are the antithesis. There are also many belts which are stop start.
The above systems also have some of the most high efficiency easy to drive drivers
