I just heard back from the only shipper that has provided me a quote so far. If I drive the amp to their agent facility in Indianapolis (about an hour and 15 minutes each way), the price will drop to $223.49. That's worth the drive.

I'm setting up the shipment now for a drop-off this Monday. Krell will have it by Wednesday next week. Then I just have to sit back and wait for 6-8 weeks to see it come back to me.

Steve-The service department told me they are quoting everyone 6-8 weeks due to their backlog plus the hurrincane cost them almost a week of down time. I hope you are right though.

That's a good quote and a nice drive also to Indianapolis, I always remember the Elk steak I had at the Loon Lake Lodge.
