I have recently set up the Jason Roebke master tape to recopy it for the production master I use to make you all copies. I have done that and have a beautiful new production master for future orders.
But I'm going to leave the equipment set up for 48 hours to see if any of you want a $ 500.00 direct copy of the 8 track master. This is a very rare occurrence as almost no one in the world has a direct copy of any multi track master as it is so much work to get it out, align the machine, find the takes, have high quality equipment for playback, etc.
I will do this for anyone of you interested. You'll find the sound stunning. I, myself, am amazed at the sound quality of this transfer. I'm constantly trying to improve my tape machines, equipment, etc., and in this case the results are quite good.
So if anyone is interested email me at jonathanhorwich at me dot com and we'll work out payment directly through Paypal. I'll take down the equipment on Thursday night this week if no one is interested.
For anyone who can afford it, I highly recommend this. Guaranteed. To me the tune, "Shimmering II" is the best bass I've ever recorded and maybe the best acoustic bass sound I've ever heard along with the vibes and sax. Serious microphones were used.
