The Holy Grail of Master Tapes?

I mean what's on those tapes. If they are live Garcia band shows I'd love to know what shows and/or what dates/years

Yes, almost all are live shows that have not been released. I'm not privy to publish the list...... sorry:(

I completely understand I was just hoping. This is all very exciting to the dead community. Can't wait to see what on those tapes. Thank you for making the transfers!

Very exciting. I see "Ralph Stanley" and " Bluegrass". Before the GD, Jerry went around in the early 60's taping live Bluegrass Shows of people he was into. Wondering if you have some rare "Boots" there of Bluegrass that Jerry did himself?
As a Jerry fan, American Beauty, "Dead Rehearsal" and stuff with JGB/ Kahn is very interesting.
Sure Sunshine/ Mountain will do their best to get it out.

Wow this is incredible. As someone who has gone out of my way to find some of the more difficult to find and rare ‘72-73 Dead vintage albums, concerts in Europe, Ithaca, New Haven, New York, Winterland, Redrock, I would say I am a huge fan of select Dead albums. Not so much their studio albums though I do have them from MFSL. I also like the Garcia Pizza tapes and some of the duos he has done.

Bruce - what an incredibly musical journey you are beginning! Congrats…an honour well deserved and the Dead knew great sound and mastering. What a legacy and what a hand you have in creating your own legacy around preserving this one! Wish that some of this might make it to redbook!

At this point are there any “hard to find” anything that is Dead-related? They have released hundreds of shows and thousands more are available on torrent sites, legally.

It took me a little while to find these at a price I wanted to pay:

I see. You were talking about out of print releases. Yes, they can be expensive, unfortunately.

Yes but incredibly good listening and if you like the Grateful Dead particularly these whole concerts…14 CDs in just one of these sets!!!

I have every Grateful Dead and Garcia release. And, I have done dozens of cassette and reel to reel transfers of unofficial releases.

My wife's brother was a Dead Head who followed the Dead from concert to concert for years and sold their merch at the concerts. He has every concert he attended on casette . You and he should connect
