GERMAN PHYSIKS APPOINTS LOCRIAN AUDIO LLC AS DISTRIBUTOR IN THE U.S.A.
German Physiks has appointed Locrian Audio as the new distributor in the U.S.A. for our omnidirectional loudspeakers and high-end electronics. Locrian Audio is run by Basile Theodoropoulos, a longtime friend and business associate of the Company. His showroom is located in a purpose-built facility in Dallas, Texas, where five German Physiks omnidirectional loudspeaker models are available for audition. These cover listening spaces of up to 1,000 sq ft. They offer an outstanding price/performance value and are room friendly.
Optionally for the entry models and standard on the higher end, Locrian Audio will provide placement services on location by a certified German Physiks acoustics specialist to ensure optimal performance and continuous musical enjoyment.
Basile will appoint a select number of audio business partners, who will principally focus on the higher-end German Physiks loudspeakers. Interested audio dealers are invited to contact him directly for details.

German Physiks is the brand name of the high-quality omnidirectional loudspeakers manufactured by DDD Manufactur GmbH. The company was founded in 1992 and is based in Frankfurt, Germany. All German Physiks designs use their unique, DDD driver.
The DDD driver is a wide-bandwidth, omnidirectional unit that uses pistonic, bending wave and modal radiation. It typically covers the frequency range from about 200Hz to 24kHz, so there is no crossover in the mid-range, which yields a major improvement in clarity. The DDD driver has a very low moving mass, providing excellent transient response. In addition, it is phase linear across its operating range, giving very high timbral accuracy.
