Goldmund Telos 690 Internal Dac

I have been using CH C1.2, X1, L1, M1.1 for some time for roon streaming to drive my Kharma Exqusite Midi 3.0. For budget reasons i had to shrink the system a bit and sold the Kharma’s and L1, M1.1 pre power and bought Goldmund Telos 690 integrated and Alara Labs Remiga 1 Diamond. I am more than happy for now but i wanna further with this shrink and want to ask you a question.
How is the dac on Talos integrated? If i sell CH C1.2 and X1 dac, do you think adding a great streamer to telos 690’s dac will collapse the the system performance? If it will Mola Mola Tombequie would be a good choice?

I have the 590 and used the internal DAC for about 1 1/2 years. The increase in sound quality switching to a $7,500 (got it for 6K new) Audio Mirror Dac was completely transformational. Two other tips: the chasis MUST be grounded to a good ground box to tap the potential of the amp. The feet it comes with MUST be loosened a bit for sound quality- my dealer did not tell me and I spent a year without the best possible sound. Enjoy!

The CH 1.2 Dac is extremely good sounding unit.... I highly doubt you can do better than that at any price, you might get a different flavor of the sound like R2R chips vs FGPA or SAbre, etc, but to me, the CH 1.2 with its power supply is a keeper. However, we all hear differently, so the best bet would to try the Mola Mola in your system and compare.

Thank you. Actually i am more about shrinking the system and get some budget refund without much sucrifice of sound quality. I mostly like soundstage and holographic 3d imaging. Most of the reviewers say mola mola has a great holography. Thats why i am leaning twords that direction.

I am driving Adam audio speakers. They have an internal woofer amp so little current demand on amp. Sounds great but again would not say that without chasis grounding. I think because it is very wideband it creates it's own pollution which needs to be removed. In my expoerience room acoustics ( particularly diffusion on back wall) has a much greater effect on imaging than do the electronics.
