Christmas came early this year. This thrift store find is in reasonable condition. Harry Belafonte Live at Carnegie Hall/. I entered the room in pursuit of the Soundtrack from Flashdance. When I picked it behind it was this Harry Belafonte recording,
What do you get for the guy who has everything? Steve I think I found your Chrismas present. 20181122_134204.jpg .

Belafonte records have to be some of the most mistreated records on the planet, that one in particular! Hard to find clean copies in any thrift store. That and Boz Skaggs Silk Degrees. Waiting for a play report.

I do not have a working turntable. I also need to plan a cleaning regimen. Getting it played will mot be a problem.

Great album. Looks like it is a mono copy. The stereo version is on the TAS Superdisc list and Classics did reissues in 33 and 45. Coincidentally I was just listening to the album this evening. I have a tape version (15ips 2 track) that I recently traded for - a dub of a master tape copy. The vinyl has great sonics.
