Heavier Counterweight For SME Series V Tonarms

Hi,

I'm owning this extra counterweight to balance heavier cartridges than 18 grams. Sadly the information is missing which weight range this counterweight is covering. Can someone help?

If I’m not mistaken that second extra (rectangular steel plate) weight that is screwed under the counterweight is balancing cartridges up to 24grams. But I’m not sure if my memory serves me correctly.

Yes, the heavier one substitutes the original and 24 grams would be perfect. This allows to place the complete balance weight closer to the arm's bearing to optimize its dynamic balance.
