I was playing some vinyl and everything was going along nice and peachy. I was groovin' to some tunes, when all of a sudden a looked over at my turntable and saw the LP spinning feverishly at about 150RPM (?). Not only that, but the Lp had like a 1" warp and seemed to be spinning right off the spindle.

Then I noticed that I had no tonearm! WTF? I looked sideways and there it was laying beside my sister. I yelled out to here, but she didn't hear me. It was like one of standstill running dreams. I was talking, but no sound was being emitted. Anyway she turned over and crushed the tonearm. It lay there all shattered in pieces.

Next thing my ex-wife says to me (have no idea how she got into my apartment...LOL) and says oh I'll help you pay for another one (she never did while we were married, but I digress). It shouldn't cost more than $800 she says, to which I replied....no, more like $2,000 and we're not even talking about a cartridge yet. (Even in my dreams I recognize an opportunity...haha).

Anyway, I tell her that its ok and I'll just play my CD's.....which is when I woke up in a cold sweat!

Dreams have meanings. This one means it's time to rip all your albums to a hard drive and set up a server. :)

LOL! Maybe one day in retirement, which won't be happening for a while just yet.

I once had a dream whereby the Grim Reaper was walking away from my apartment 4 floors above ground. I kept looking at him and he just disappeared. A friend suggested that it meant any demons/frustrations/anger/blah, blah, blah were leaving.

Actually it means take good care of your rig because CDs will always be the second choice :p :D
