I planned to get the Meze headphones ever since I heard them at Crutchfield Audio. This combo permitted me to get them virtually for free. Now that I have added all the reasonable additions (USB/AC filter/ Power cord) all I have to do is enjoy the music. I think "clean AC" takes the combo to another level IMO.

There is awindow of at least six months before I get on the upgrade pathbagaain. To me the sins of the Classic are of omission not commission. That means there is nothing at all annoying sonically about them.
That being said, I would be happy to evaluate the Meze 190 if someone wanted to send it to me. Hint hint.

Yes, I have heard about that too. That makes sense. It is a filter. The more filters you stack, the greater the attenuation of nasty things is.

I mean $60 is couch cushion money for you guys. Is it worth the money?
