Ignore Entire Threads

Gentlemen , Is there a settings option in ones control panel or elsewhere where one can place an entire thread including any recent addendums and likes on ‘Ignore’ ?

I am somewhat tired of having to wade past huge chunks of page one and into page two where a small number of threads with some extremely energetic respondents continuously spam said threads with comments that I have less than Zero interest in.

short answer is "No"

a simple way that I have used since day 1 is to search only through "New Posts" For me that immediately tells me what to read and what not. It's not rocket science

If there are disruptive threads , the best thing is to report the posts
