I made him relist it for the item for the third time - he just exposed another hijacked account.

That one was harder. Took me 3 days and numerous email exchanges with the scammer.

That we are still debating this after all those scams is proof of the power of the Audiogon name. When audiophiles need to buy or sell used gears, they continue to automatically turn to Audiogon. You would expect other sites or people to seize this opportunity to make a dent on the quasi-monopoly the'gon has on the sector. Too bad the people at Audiogon don't know what to do to preserve their main assets: the Audiogon name and concept.

Never got a phishing email (which looks like sent by audiogon) asking you to log in ?
Never / ever do that ! Those emails usually take you to the sites like audi0gon (with a 0 instead of o), which sole purpose is to steal your ID and password.

I have been watching Agon for the last month looking for some certain items and have seen so many --NO Feedback'ers with actions instead of sales that it sickens me.Ebayers I suspect.
I have lost all interest in Agon and look more to Canuck audio mart but not much of what I am looking for comes through there.

I bought a Hegel H30 and the seller sent me a UPS tracking number. That package arrived safely in Sandy, Utah. I live in California.

UPS said it was dropped off at a carport. So, I am assuming fraud, as seller has not contacted me.
