In wall cables for EU 230V circuit

Could you please describe more about your experience with solidcore vs stranded cables?

I had both types :
1- Stranded cable 10mm2 (8AWG)
2- Solidcore 16mm2 (6AWG , not single core , it includes 8 x 2mm2 solidcore wire)

I did not have single core wire but If you have any experience please share?

Thank you

I agree you furutech and most other hifi companies are not as good as oyaide.

I agree you schuko is not very good for high current audio applications.

I do not use shielded hifi cables between ac panel and my audio system. I use regular cheap non-shielded cable .
Die besten Solid-Core-Kabel, die ich kenne, sind solche von Vovox (Swiss professional Company), bei Strom (Model Excelsus) und bei RCA/XLR-Kabeln.

Beste Oyaide-Power-Plugs: The Models C079, better than C046 and C037. I have all of them and compared then with the same AC-Cable Supra Silver 40th Anniversary.
Besides the Oyaide 046, 037, and 079, I have also used the 004, F1, M1, various Furutech plugs, and many receptacles from those brands. I’m glad the 079 works for you. It’s a good option, but it can be considered the best when matched with a regular bright silver due to its roll-off character imposed by the gold plating. With top silver or copper cables 046 or 004 is great but Frutech FI-11 is better than those. Choice of receptacle also plays a major role.
