JackD201 - Almost Done

I hear only 2 words while in the house of Jack - ULTRA and PREMIUM. :D

Get ready Leif. Cardinal Red or Brilliant Blue? That appears to be the only question remaining. The countdown has begun.

Blue is said to bring down blood pressure and slow respiration and heart rate. ...

Red raises a room's energy level. ...

The ULTRA's raise my blood pressure

Tough call lol

Either color is going to POP for sure

That's it brother. Got the paint code?

No I don't. Can you get the code? Or a photo of the plate on the drivers side door lmao. That color is going to look amazing with the black frames and the white cones!!!

I'll email you buddy :D Keith is still pushing for Cardinal Red. I can't blame him but I'm going to go with my instincts with this one. My instincts say "Don't mess with Marge!" LOL!

I have to tell you that Damon and I are both HUGE fans of the Cardinal Red. But remembering the mood lighting in your listening room I can picture in my head how awesome the Brilliant Blue Metallic is going to look. They are going to disappear in that room:)

Exactly Leif. :) I think the lines will show better with brilliant blue under more subdued if more chromatic lighting :D If the room had tons of natural light like Keith's does I'd go with the Cardinal.

I had a meeting with Doc J, the MK2's new owner and his contractors yesterday. He's raising his ceiling to give the big boys more breathing room. His Iridium 44s have found a new owner as well.

Oh that's awesome!!!

The VR-11 Mk2s will be packed, boom trucked, delivered and installed at their new happy Dad's place tomorrow.

If I were an NBA Team, I've just gone officially into rebuild mode. Maxxums and AF1 Premium ready for pick-up. SAT being done by Marc as facilitated by my big bro and good buddy Wilfred who is out somewhere in Norway now hunting for the Northern Lights. Titanium wands reserved and mo' CH goodies being prepped. Stacked M1s? We'll see. Big Blue is also in the works. I've got Keith's old Jerez Black VR-44s and KR VA900s to keep me company in the bedroom. Excited to try the brand new KR preamp, the P-135 which uses 45s instead of their proprietary Octals. I'll probably go and raid Keith's stash of RCA Globes to swap around with to make things even more interesting :D I won't have vinyl though :(

Funny how I missed the mark so much with the title of this. How little did I know then that I was so FAR from done!

That is all very exciting, Jack!

What color are you painting the CMS Maxxums?
