James Bond - SKYFALL Trailer

Thunderball would rate as my fave and then From Russia with love and Dr. No. All with Sean Connery:D. C'mon guys can you really top Ursula Andress in Dr.No...she was a real "Honey";)

Sorry Steve, Dave is right. Honey Ryder not Solitaire, that was Live & Let Die.

The first 10 minutes of Casino Royale was IMO the best opening of any James Bond film

Phenomenal opening scene and chase. Thought the whole movie was great and delivered all the stuff we love about Bond.

And though not a great Bond, always loved Barbara Bach in 'The Spy Who Loved Me'

"Hottest Bond Girls" deserves their own thread :D

I still believe Niven was the real James Bond in Casino Royale. The other 007s were just named James Bond for some weird reason including Peter Sellers. I think Allen was Jimmy Bond, James Bond Jr. ;)

I rate the Parkour scene as the best Bond action sequence of all time, however in it's day, the undersea scuba battle in Thunderball must have had folks lining up for dive lessons. Even the remake Never Say Never Again couldn't really top it.

Agreed. Sir Sean couldn't save Never Say Never Again.

Just checked with the expert (Fernando Jr.) - this cut is a Fan-made trailer, includes takes from OTHER 007 pictures plus some cuts from the new one (less than 25% I am afraid) - some takes were taken from a thriller where Craig was the actor but not from the 007 saga, a well made fan trailer but, as Steve said, not the official one.

I'd say Bond particularly Connery owes his whole Bond appeal to Terence Young.

Very likely Bob, my son has all Craig's movies so he could check that right on...

Yes, I was checking several trailers, and most of them were in that style (parody),
like from post #30 on the previous page.

Did you see this one?

:D

Steve's first original post (as my post #30) contains a parody trailer (with cuts from previous films).
...Like I said before (from Steve's trailer), ...which contains sequences from the movie 'Collateral',
directed by Michael Mann (I just know all his films).

*** But the official 2012 007 'SKYFALL' trailer; I posted on post #31, above.
...James, he's the 'Boon'. :b

It's a crime that Salma Hayak was never chosen as one of the Bond girls.

I defy anyone to tell me I'm wrong! :D

Fixed and thanks!

I have always been a huge James Bond fan having read all of thge Ian Fleming novels. I have seen all of the movies as well as all of the actors playing 007

I used to say that IMO the only James Bond was Sean Connery however the present day version with Daniel Craig really is what James Bond was all about BUT Sean Connery had the suave whereas Daniel Craig has the macho.

Who can forget the names of all of the women in Ian Fleming's books (Pussy Galore comes to mind :))

Javier Bardem is the villain

BTW, this is not the official trailer

Another thread I missed... Another huge fan here, having seen all the movies at least 30 times, yes no exaggeration, read all the books including trivia! Nuts, huh? Well, I finally exposed my true passion, and it's not high end audio :D So much so, that during a serious poker game a few years ago, with a Bond movie in the background, I started uttering the dialog ahead of the movie, and while everyone was looking at me as if I were an imbecile, they all cracked up when the movie caught up with me 2 seconds later... really funny moment...
