Lampizator Big 7 Hum

Please see my post in the other hum thread.

By elimination in my system the Lampi. Big 7 is the one responsible for the Hum. Powwr supply regulators??

Almost certainly the transformers. Take the lid off and put your ears close to them you will probably hear them buzzing. I had the same problem. Get someone to rip them out and put some good ones in. The stock ones were not good, unfortunately.

Another issue is the triodes are placed too close together physically. This can cause some triodes to 'talk to each other' and cause a rising hum over time. So swap out the tubes for some other alternatives. If that doesn't solve it, my money is on the transformers. Toroidy make good ones, but look around there will be plenty of other high quality alternatives.
