Maybe it's just me, but I find things like that a distraction instead of some sort of enhancement to the listening experience.
Lava has a unique way of flowing with the music...maybe I saw too many Grateful Dead shows...lol

-- Yeah, the seventies at the discotheque, I remember that, with our high heeled shoes.
...You too Don?
Thanks Carl. Last time I heard anything out of my system was the end of June last year.
I can tell you that I did just finally have a listen and I must admit it sounded pretty darn good even with my perfunctory positioning of the speakers as they are now and are still on casters. I wanted to have a listen to get some initial impressions as the rest of the room treatments are going in, specifically the tuning tubes and Helmholtz resonator. Francisco was talking before about expectation bias commenting after the measurements but TBH there was expectation bias from the moment I saw those tubes glowing
Steve, congrats and I hope your new room exceeds all of your dreams. I didn't realize it has been that long.
What have you been doing to satisfy your soul, musically?
Shouldn't there be a turntable on top of your equipment rack instead of a damn house plant?
ha ha ha 10+Lights? I don't need no stinking lights! I just make sure I'm properly "lit up" and I'm good to go!
