Reviving this thread as I am currently exploring options of purchasing the M12 Premium + the Opt Bridge (replacing a system of an SOTM SNH-10G + Cybershaft OP19 OCXO clock + Sonore Optical module + 2 x Farad Super 3 LPS).
What I am not sure when I cost out the replacement system is how many of the tweaks identified by the members here (LPS - JCAT or Plixir)/Sablon cables/grounding/vibration isolation) are still needed with the Premium switch (versus the gold switch). Any advice from members using the premium switch + bridge combo is highly appreciated. Thanks in advance!
I have certainly observed, through listening, that an external clock for a switch, as well as an LPS for a switch, improve the sound but also contribute a sound (noise?) signature. That signature may or may not be what the consumer prefers in his setup and for his ears. How is the noise...

I can totally understand what you are saying! The M12 Premium is something so close to live music, it still takes a digital layer off the reproduction and brings you closer to the analogue feel of the music...
I have just recovered an Entreq grounding box with its grounding cable, I will try this evening what it means to ground it!

oh yes! this is amazing!!!
there is more energy and greater dynamics!!! but it's not fine tunig it's a big change!!! and it's just inserted!!! the listening continues, but a little Entreq wih its silver grounding wires is a must!!!
continuing the listening session...
on my system, the addition of a grounding box has brought an expansion of dynamics that in some tracks perhaps reaches a point that is too extreme. it will be difficult to find a balance now, I have to let the music flow and let the hours, the days go by to better break in the audio gears!
I have tried a lot of switches over the last few years, the whole Ansuz range for example (with the exception of the new €22,000 D-TC GOLD Signature), but I can tell you from my experience that if you have the money to buy a Telegartner M12 Premium, you will not regret it!
now with Entreq's grounding box it has surpassed something I thought it could not be!
It is posted in the classifieds. Still available, if anyone is interested send me a PM. I'm willing to sell it with or without the external Plixir Elite BDC PSU.
Hello everyone, I am a happy owner of two Telegärtner M12 Premium, a switch that replaced an Ansuz D-TC Supreme and a D2 (I had 3 to be precise, I kept the third Ansuz d2).
I just got the new ULTIMO linear PSU from Jcat a few days ago, accompanied by the exceptional ULTIMO DC Cable umbilical, constructed from 14AWG OCC copper, it is shielded with minimised impedance and a unique structure that reduces mechanical vibration. As soon as it is plugged into an M12 Premium you can feel an increase in the signal-to-noise ratio, there is more inter-instrumental blackness, more silence between the planes, a greater sense of space around the notes, but above all those contour elements in the background gain more energy and presence, favouring a more organic, fuller whole! And that's just the beginning...
Anyone with an M12 switch should upgrade, not doing so is a bad decision!
