Metrum acoustics gone under ?

They make both a DAC (Pavane) that uses custom converter technology and I like the fact that the S/PDIF inputs do not have reclocking on them. They also have a version with volume technology like what I use in my Overdrive DAC: changes the reference voltage to adjust volume. I hope their products survive.

The one mistake IMO is they used a cheap OEM USB converter module rather than buying a better one or designing it themselves.
