Seth is training with Steph, he's very much improved.Watching Sixers vs Celtics and it’s close at 41/39 Sixers late in the 2nd
Tough loss Phil. I think we’re all in misery hereEmbiid was unstoppable. No answer.
Clippers getting clobbered tonight. Now down by 14 and the Spurs aren't very good this year.I think you’re right as they were my second choice they played the lakers in them
I am watching the game and was afraid to comment in case you didn't knowClippers getting clobbered tonight. Now down by 14 and the Spurs aren't very good this year.
so whats wrong with the Clippers. It can't all be blamed on the absence of Kawhi. I still feel the team needs a few trades to bring the team into contention. At least Coach Ty Lue called the Clippers out for their pathetic effort vs the Spurs last night

Having said that Mike, you know the I have always wondered about the efficacy of TL as the Clippers coach. He ws the coach when LeBron and the Cavs won the championship however IMO it was LeBron who was coaching the team
As to your thought of KL and LeBron switching teams, IMO it is a lose-lose situation. Kawhi has more yers left in him than LeBron. Lakers effectively have no one to play the 5 position now that AD is out so I am wondering if LeBron himself will be called upon to play the 5. Lakers will never be more than a .500 club. If they qualify they will be positioned deep in the WC standings. I feel the same about the Clipps
BTW Patrick Beverly killed the Lakers in the Wolves recent win. The Clips should not have traded him IMO
Thanks for the update. I meant no disrespect. I haven't read those articles. That is an impressive read about Lue. As for Doc I think he is a far better coach than TL, however the year he was let go, I felt it was the right thing to do as I felt he "lost the team" after expectations were high. I just think the Clips should be doing much better than they areYes, I know you haven't liked any of the Clippers coaches of late - Doc Rivers and Ty as well.
Ty is well respected as an NBA head coach. Here is an example of how NBA GM's view him as best at in game adjustments and among the top coaches as a player motivator.
Can't change your opinion of course but you do have to give at least some credence to a survey of NBA general managers.

My proposed trade was Kawhi for Anthony Davis (not LBJ) - followed by a winky face since neither of them can even play at this point due to injury.
Changing gears, LeBron's deal only has one more year after this one so not too much longer. Plus you can never count LeBron out. Seems to me he helped win the 2020 title at DisneyWorld for the Lakers through great leadership and sheer determination. He hasn't lost those qualities.
