New Album & The Beginning of Basketball Season

This thought has crossed my mind really.

Even though I am laughing because I think Perkins is the dumbest sportscaster on TV. He predicted Lakers would win 70 games this year. They'll be lucky to win 45

Yet having said that I love the idea. But what the Cavs would have to give up in. return would destroy their playoff hopes not only this year but for years to come. Let's make it a package deal and throw Westbrook into the deal

Fully agree on Perk. Can't still understand why he's hired to sit there.

Maybe LeBron will tell Dan Gilbert to get rid of everybody except rookie Garland and oldie Kevin Love, for Sentimental reasons. This ending is very fitting for this traveling troubadour. His chance to be a 2 time self proclaimed Goat. :D

I wonder if the Cavs will need a new coach because everything would have to meet with his approval

This may disappoint a lot of fans, from both camps. :D

The only credit I give him is that he invented how he was going to shape his 'legacy', and then after his 3 rings, he still felt he never got his 'damn respect', and asked for the basketball world (everyone included), to give him his 'DR".

And on this statement of Shumpert:

"Find me the year the top player left his throne and joined someone else."

This I've been telling people repeatedly when the GOAT debate starts. Bird, Magic, Jordan. Even the Pistons' IT. They made their original teams great. In that list, nobody will ever top Magic and Bird, who won in their first and second years, respectively. Magic as a rookie helped Jabbar (who didn't win a title for 4 years as a Laker) for his first Lakers ring, while Bird overturned a 29-53 season into 61-21 in his rookie year and the ECF and then 60-22 the next year enroute to bag the NBA title on his sophomore year. In contrast, James won 0 titles for Cleveland in 7 years and decided to jump ship to join the Heat with a team he deemed so potent as to promised his fans to win more than 8 titles and still lost on his first try to Dallas.

I can now understand the Lakers' woes.

"No other Lakers player got past the logo."

Merry Christmas and Happy Holiday o everyone here. I hope Santa left great things for everyone. Some great games today. GSW at Phoenix and Celtics vs Bucks and Nets at Lakers. I wonder if Kyrie will play in this game. Either way the Lakers with a decimated team will go down to a much better Nets team

Here is "the" Christmas Day article that sums up the entire travesty of this year's Lakers. I mentioned a few weeks go that the Lakers filled their roster with "older than thou" players , some of whom are future HOFers however the only player that is productive this year is LeBron. I have also said that they are a below 500 team and will be lucky to qualify for the playoffs. They might find themselves in one of the "play in" spots

LeBron’s greatness not enough for Lakers so far this season

L.A.'s star forward plumbing near-unprecedented depths of production for a 19th-year veteran, but seems unable to elevate these Lakers.

the Suns-Warriors game today IMO is "the" game to watch and the Celtics Bucks next. I believe the Celtics to be better than I thought earlier in the season and I think Celts can beat the Bucks today

now I know the big difference between LBJ and Westbrook, or between LBJ and the other future hall of famers in this team.. he is the oldest player in the team but still is the best performer. I gave RW more credit than he deserve when he joined the team.

I wish I could get on board with Westbrook

to me he’s good from far but far from good

This has become a game of 3’s and sharp dhooting

both of these teams are at the top of the game. Suns are definitely better and more rounded than last year

Suns are well coached. Interesting how Javale McGee has played for 3 -4 other teams and is underwhelming. Comes to Suns and he looks better than I’ve ever seen
at the half

Suns 62-58

Tough loss by the Celtics as they played their hearts out but Giannis is really rolling now and Celtics gave up a 19 point lead

Final Bucks 117-113
A come from behind loss to wake me up. :(
