Management is definitely protecting him from possible injuries. Prized young players are prone lately to severe injuries that can take them out of the season. Kids glove style. I once saw a pre nba Porzingis play in a FIBA game where he chased down to block a lay up then tumbled with like a complete somersault on the floor. Those are really dangerous stunts.

Yes I agree. I see already there have been several injuries in the sumner league. I remember when I felt the future of the league was Zion. What a bust he is. OTOH I have good feelings about this kid. He’s only 19. What a career hopefully. He does need to add some bulk and muscle however. I always thought Porzingis lacked the brawn to be a great center but this could be year for Boston who once again are early favorites to win it all
