And Doc gets his first win after Bucks trailed by 25 against the Mavericks. He can say it's his coaching but it was pretty close to being 0-3 for Doc.

Curry scores 60 but Warriors lost to the Hawks in overtime. Klay has a dismal 4/19 shooting.

Decent win for Lakers against hot Knicks team last night but not sure how meaningful given Knicks played without starting frontcourt three. If Jalen and Donte continue to score at current pace and OG and Randle return they will be very tough out in playoffs. If Robinson somehow manages to return before year-end, I think they could make finals.

But for a brief moment they have bragging rights. LeBron had plenty to say after the game

I really hope Pelinka realizes there is no way the Lakers are going anywhere this year and stands pat at the trade deadline.

Adam Silver must have a thing for Doc Rivers. He has just become coach of the bucks but somehow his come from behind victory over the Mavs has made him the EC Coach in the All Star game...I always thought it was the coach of the top team in each conference. Doc has done nothing......

well here's the answer. It did used to be the best record coach of each conference who was coach of that conference all stars. Sometimes it used to be the coach who won the conference the previous year and now there is no repeat. It should be Coach Johnny who has the winningest record in the league but because he coached last year this precludes him from coaching this year and that honor goes to the coach with the second best record who just happened to be the coach fired by the Bucks to bring in Doc and hence after 3 games welcome back Doc Rivers. I noticed there is still no commentator sitting beside Doris and Green. They should hire the guy the Bucks just fired. ..After all, turn around is fair play. ;)

That explains it. Doc is just plain lucky, Coming in at his right time and place. :D But yeah, he got some class in wanting to send his staff to the AS game and give Griffin his share . Btw, I read that Steph will duel a woman 3 ball shooter in the AS game but I have to hear some confirmation on this. Adam would love this. :D

Marcus Smart gets a tribute video and a lot of love from the fans in his return to Boston Garden. Unfortunately, he is still on the injured list.
Truly tough to let him go but it's a GM's job to do what is best for his team.

Clippers win again , over the Heat, and if the Thunder lose tonight (down big against the Raptors now) , they will be tied for the first place in the West with the Wolves who is expected to win their game tonight. That is some climb after the Harden trade , who can be said right now, is the missing link.
