New Album & The Beginning of Basketball Season

I've always liked Steve Kerr as a player, a TV color commentator and now coach of the GSW but there was talk that the GSW were trying to save money and he could be a casualty by not renewing his contract. It was good to read this today.

Reports: Steve Kerr agrees to contract extension as Warriors coach

Warriors coach Steve Kerr, entering his second decade at the helm, will reportedly remain through the 2025-26 season

The buzz in this part of the world is really to the Lakers any more but rather LeBron chasing the 40K mark. He dropped 30 last night in the win but all I read about is that he needs just over 100 points to reach 40K points. Does anyone really care

Amazing how he turns a 5 man game into an achievement all by himself. And he keeps doing it.

Silver might make a 40,000 mark trophy for his nba pet. :D

Hope they don't summon Kareem again to rub it in.

I read yesterday that he will be the Lakers coach if Ham is shown the door

That kind of news does not add to the confidence of Ham. I am still wondering which coach can properly coach a team with LeBron, there seems to be always a lot of pressure on that coach when there are losses. It all started with him and Spoestra. Many times in his first year with Miami, there were news that Spo might be booted out and Riley comes down again. It's been another habit of his, I feel for the coaches.

Lakers could be so much better without him. Right now it’s all about his legacy

Knicks have a reality check tonight at MSG as they lost to the dominant Celtics who have an 8 game win streak going. Celtics just keep on winning and are so far ahead in the EC (and WC) that no one is going to catch them

Maturity. That's what will drive them forward to the goal line. Tatum it assisting. He should level up to be a true leader by involving everyone.

"Then the first day ... man, I felt like I was at home again. I didn't know that. I just felt normal. Good. I felt full. You've got to be full when you're working and I felt full."

Dame, Giannis and lessons from the Ben Simmons saga: Inside Doc Rivers' first month with the Bucks

this was a terrific read. Im glad Doc felt full once again. Id hate to see him starving beside Doris but it seems we will find out if Doc has the ability to make the Bucks a winner. They seemed to have very good chemistry util Doc took over

Bucks vs Sixers is the game to watch today although GSW vs Nuggs would also be good to watch as methinks GSW has caught some air under their wings and seem to be the Warriors of old. This stretch run will see a lot of standings changes.

Then again there is the Lakers vs the Suns. I just cannot figure the Suns as I thought they would be competition this year but they too wu=ith their three big stars have nothing to really brag about

so Doc gets an impressive win but at the half Phoenix leads the lakers 72-63. Suns seem to be toying with the Lakers as every Lakers run is followed by one by the Suns. Booker remains the leader f this team. I just can't figure KD or Beal as, on paper the Suns should be in the top 4. KD just seems to do his thing but is. to the KD of old, and a healthy Beal to complete the triumvirate has sputtered. Is it going to fall on Vogel's shoulders as it did with Monty Williams. Little is said here about Darwin Ham but there was a comment in the press that LeBron was pissed with Pelinka for not making a move by trade deadline and LeBro was lobbying to bring one of his allies in.

It will be interesting next year if the Lakers cave and ink a new 9 figure contract for LeBron and possibly Bronny. I would only hope he becomes a free agent next yer and we will see how many crazy GM's pick up the phone and call Pelinka to talk turkey .......
