New Album & The Beginning of Basketball Season

as the saying goes, "it's only over when the fat lady sings" and Lakers had a strong third period to close to with in 2 points

end of 3rd Lakers trail 95-90

Can the Lakers beat the Suns. Last game at LA the Suns blew them out s the Lakers never lead in the game

Lakers quickly discover that a game is 4 quarters not 3 as Phoenix erupts in the 4th for which the Lakers have no answer and they collapse into oblivion

Typical Lakers finish

Final Suns 123-113

I remain skeptical as to whether the Lakers will even qualify for the Play In round

No doubt that Doc is going to cherish this win
Bucks got a lot of help from Malik Beaseley the past 2 games. He's now a starting guard. When Middleton comes back, Crowder (who hasn't done much as a starter) will go back to the bench. Bucks will have a solid starting 5 and they would be a team to reckon with.

Little is said here about Darwin Ham but there was a comment in the press that LeBron was pissed with Pelinka for not making a move by trade deadline and LeBro was lobbying to bring one of his allies in.

It will be interesting next year if the Lakers cave and ink a new 9 figure contract for LeBron and possibly Bronny. I would only hope he becomes a free agent next yer and we will see how many crazy GM's pick up the phone and call Pelinka to talk turkey .......
LeBron always blames someone when he feels the team is not up to his 'liking' or 'standard'. In 20 years he has won only 4 titles ( 3 with * ) :D and he projects an image of himself greater than his team and the NBA itself.

As an observer and reading some articles, it would seem the Jeannie is very drawn to LeBron (as did Magic when he was GM). I feel there is virtually no chance LeBron opts out of the Lakers as the glitter there is basically what he wanted when he left Cleveland for the second time. He told his friends then that his decision for his next team (turned out to be the Lakers) is 'not a basketball' decision. Most likely it was for business and self propagation of his 'stardom'. I can feel what you feel, Steve, but reality is like he's going to be a Laker till the end, as he said during the All Star game weekend.

I agree about not opting out BUT the little boy's pride will be hurt if the front office has the smarts not to increase their contractual obligation to him. .....does that mean that Bronny becomes part of the deal.

I remember the year they brought Nash and Howard in to win the pennant and both were duds. Nash had permanent back injury that prevented him from playig but he refused to retire so that he could continue to draw a salary.

LeBron's huge salary will prevent them from acquiring anyone half decent in the off season

watching the Warriors now vs the Nuggets proves the Warriors (as Jack stated) are a great 36 minute team as the game was close until the end of the 3rd when the Nuggets got hot and now lead by 9 with 5:11 in the game

as much as the Warriors are my team after the Lakers I really feel we are watching the end of a dynasty

Well Clippers I thought were a formidable force in the WC but at Sacramento tonight they come up way short to the Kings

Final Kings 123-107

I have to favor in the WC right now OKC and Denver who I believe can beat the Wolves in a 7 game series and likely OKC but could easily go 7 games

There might not be a father and son tandem next season.

"Bronny James has possibly been the most disappointing player on the team. He has had a bad year in terms of improving his stock as an NBA prospect.

He has played in 18 games for the Trojans, averaging 5.7 points, 2.9 rebounds and 2.6 assists while shooting just 36.5% from the field and 27.5% from 3-point range.

However, limitations exist, too: “Take away that bloodline, and Bronny James is a multi-year college player, one who needs to continue honing his skills. Reminder: He is not even a starter now, on one of the most disappointing teams in the worst of all six power conferences, per KenPom.”

LeBron James has been open about wanting to play with Bronny James in the NBA, which has led many to believe that some teams would draft him just for the chance that LeBron would join as well, but with this season unfolding as it has, Bronny and LeBron may hold off one more year."

Watching Jokic vs the Warriors, he just toyed around with whoever was defending him. That spin move of his is a wicked, fast, and amazing move for a man of his size and weight. And he always is looking to pass to the man in the best position to score. A truly unselfish player, yet he gets to average 20+ points a game. His soft jump hook inside the paint is also unstoppable. I still feel Nuggets will take the West. And if the C's go that far, I don't think it will be any cakewalk, in far they might be the underdog, experience of being in the Finals and winning it, means a lot.

Best news of the day. Hold out for one more year is also worrisome as James will then be 41 but hey, he has a legacy that needs completing

I continue to find that the Pacers are always a team that plays with fury and they are presently back in the 6th spot in the EC.only a 1/2 game behind the Sixers who look like a deer with headlights in its eyes

Pacers are going to do some damage this year along with the Knicks

I love the guy. He always looks like he is gasping for breath and has a difficult time as he is so darn big...yet his ball control and dribbles are like some of the best PG's in the league. He can see over everyone and always shoots with both hands way above his head that produce a high arc rainbow that always swipes i. His talents get better every year. With Embiid out of contention for MVP I see the award as Jokic' to lose

If his father wasn't LeBron, no one would br even talking about Bronny let alone consider the possibility of drafting him. My guess is he's an ordinary player looking for esteem as he plays off the shoe laces of his father. That will be an experiment based on disaster IMO

Best line and a truthful first line, Steve.

Maybe LeBron felt that all along, that his son is not an NBA ready kid and by declaring he will play for whichever team that drafts his son, he is actually doing something to ensure that his son gets drafted and his son has 60 chances of getting high father's wish be done. He should produce another exclusive special with ESPN 'The Draft' (that I Crafted). :D

Stephen A is dead on when he says there are just too many better teams in the WC than the Lakers. As I said yesterday Im not so sure they will make the Play In which IMO would be a quick way to put the Lakers fans out of their misery o_O
