New Album & The Beginning of Basketball Season

wow...I doid not know Spencer Hayward plays for the Thunder. He played we'll tonight as the Thunder easily beat Houston

112-95

OKC is 41-17 on the season not bad for a team as young as they have
Steve, you mean Gordon Hayward. For I while there I was thinking Spencer Haywood in the 70s. :D

Well, Gordon can help as a veteran and off the bench, the young Thunders can use his guidance.

Holmgren is very impressive.

I never thought I'd see the day when the Wolves and Thunder are tied atop the WC

OKC is such an exciting team to watch . Wolves have improved steadily over the past 3 years but it is SGA and Holmgren who are such terrific players

Im sitting hurter watching the next battle for bragging right sin LaLa Land as Clippers host the lakers., S far a close ganew at 22-21 Lkers but that's not what caught my eyes. Rather I was wondering just how much more geography Adam Silver is going to sell off but I noticed on the refs jerseys , under the NBA badge was an "Emirates" badge . Is that the airline that is sponsoring the refereeing ...Hmmm

There is no question the Lakers are out of their league against the Clippers. Kawhi has never IMO been a team leader which left the team to PG. However tonight no pG and it's all Harden. I can't stand him but TBH I think he has finally found a home and now seems to be the team leader

At the half Clipper lead Lakers

66-52

Lakers are rarely a strong 4th period team but what a come back over the Clippers who were up 21 as they quickly go up by 6
however Clipps score 4 quick points and are behind 2 points with 9.3 seconds left. Clpps have possession but final score

Lakers 116-112 ...for the first time this was a real team effort on the Lakers part

well. other than the Lakers astonishing win last night over the Clipps, the bigger news in this part of the world is that LeBron now needs only 40 more points to reach the 40K mark. Im sure Adam Silver will be there for yet another pause in the play as he comes onto the court and lavishes the greatness of LeBron. Well he was darn good in the 4th period last night to solidify the win. As to his legacy of greatest scorer I really don't care because at the end of the day the Lakers are a .500 team that will be lucky to make the Play In Round. As to more rings, they aren't coming via the Lakers which to me is more important for the team than to stop the game and let the confetti fall. Im sure Jeannie and Pelinka will be courtside for the accolades.o_O

@christoph...
even though I feel the Warriors dynasty its over this year I still feel they are a great team. They are finally all healthy and Wiith Klay now coming in off the bench has created more depth and they are winning . I feel not only will they be in the Play In round I also think that if they play well they could finish as high as 5 or 6

At the Gardens the Warriors defeat the surging Knicks 110-99.

FWIW the warriors are 8-2 in their last 10

He might even produce a movie called "FATHER AND SON" aka (Undrafted but still Drafted by Me) :D

well Lakers just managed to beat Washington last night but that is not the big story here. Rather the story is LeBron scored 31 and needs only 9 until he get 40,000 and Adam Silver no doubt will be at the game to stop acton and make some endearing speech

I thought the best game of last night was the SAS vs OKC and Victor outplayed Holmgren and SAS soundly defeated the 1st place OKC

There was a few posts here several days ago as to who will be the future face of the NBA once LeBron is gone. A strong case can be made for either player but there is something about Victor that will keep him in the limelight for years to come

I hope Victor becomes just that and stay humble as Tim Duncan, a 5 time champion who to me is a great model of greatness and humility. That is what earns fans' respect.

I agree. Pop is a coach who keeps a steady and guiding hand. There's never any drama coming out of San Antonio

I'm sure some imaginary trophy had been carved up and be presented to the imaginary king without clothes. Silver is the tailor. :D
