Indeed Jack. Ive watched the Wolves for the past 3 years when they handily started beating the Lakers every time they played and saw them as a team of the future. I said this would be the best series of the entire playoffs. Only thing that might be as exciting would be a Wolves-Knicks (Brunson vs Edwards) Final

Trivia time . Donovan Mitchell was a draft pick of Denver in 2017 but traded to the Jazz for 2 young players. Think Murray Mitchell . But not to be.

Mc Daniel was a first Rd pick of the Lakers in 2020 but traded to the Wolves for Schroeder.

I agree about Gobert. He was better but not great. KAT IMO defends Jokic better

Conley indeed was a big factor. Conley is a great asset re scoring but his defense is consistent with his age

I have to say the odds are correct based on the home court and Denver being the champs but having said that a famous coach once said statistics are for losers so if the Wolves continue to play they did last night , miracles can happen It reminds me of the time the USA won the Gold medal in 1980 beating the Soviet Union. The Wolves IMO are truly the "little engine that could"

watching the Knicks, they too are a gutsy team playing on 4 cylinders. Brunson is the scorer but Josh Hart to me is the fuel that feeds the fire. It seems he plays a full 48 or darn close every game. He's always in the thick of things and an amazing rebounder. Why the Lakers let another star go is beyond me. The NBA is filled with Lakers rejects who have gone on to achieve fame

I agree. Phil. He's been too inconsistent in the series other than their first win . As the leader of the team he's just not there. I still think the Pacers a re a very good team and I see their weakness at the Center where Siam is more of a finesse center than a bumper and bruiser to bang with the likes of Jokic et al.

I've also been very impressed with Isaiah Hartenstein who is a banger and bruiser , a great rebounder and a very good 3 point shooter. He is an UFA this off season. The Knicks would be crazy not to re-sign him

when McConnell is on the floor he is the spark plug that seems to ignite the pacers. They just need to have that momentum for 48 minutes as they have lost 2 games this series in the final minute of the game.

Im sure Pacers willl make some positive moves in the off season as they are still a year away IMO
