Trivia time - Of the Final four teams, Boston ranks 5th in salaries. Dallas at 11th , Wolves at 13th and Pacers at 25th. The top salaried team, Golden State was eliminated during the play in. Even more interesting, Haliburton earns $5m this season but is extended till the next 4 years with a salary ranging from $30m to $40m.

tough loss indeed but I remember last year his brutal comments that he made about eliminating the Lakers in the WC finals. What goes around comes around Phil.
Bottom line the Nuggets were outplayed and out hustled by a younger, better and more determined Wolves team

Absolutely, Steve. And the defense of the young Wolves was impressive. Saw how Ant man and McDaniels scrapped out steals from Murray and Joker and made the lay ups.

I hope youre right Phil as I picked the Celtics at the start of the year and then watch how great the starting 5 of the Nuggets were and I then constantly said that I couldn't see any one beatintg the Nuggets and here we are with a Dallas Wolves WC finals.

I think it will be the Wolves vs the Celtics which then comes down to age, experience and a barrage of three point shooters, vs the young, fast and very talented and gutsy Wolves who are like the "Engine who thought it could"

Both series in East and west will be excellent but I can't see any series being as exciting as the Wolves-Nuggets was

You too had great seats Phil. Similar seats at Staples ( now crypto.com arena ) would easily be $1000 of more. A courtside seat would start at $2K and up. I remember when you traveled to Boston for that game

I believe Tatum's max contract was already computed right cover Brown's. It's a sure $300m plus. A little bit higher than Brown's, title or not.

I agree Turner for a 7 footer has great accuracy and 18 points so far in the half. Whatever Pacers do to mount a run the Celtics quickly shut them down

Pacers go on an 18-6 run late in third and suddenly game is tied at 57

Interesting first half as Celtics opened on a 12-0 run and seemed untouchable until Pacers had their run but nothing flusters the Celtics as they just play their style. Three pointers dominated the half and Celtics end the half tied at 64 as Halliburton sank a long three pointer to end the half

That quickly silenced the fans
