I just saw the highlights of the GS vs LAC game. I hurried home hoping to catch the 2nd half but dismayed that 2 of my basketball cable channels were not showing it since it's being shown on ESPN which in this area is called Fox 1 Sports.
Incredible performance by Curry. These first 5 games of his, I would give him the best basketball player on the planet tag. He's improving himself, finding the open window instead of contested shots, and of course, he makes most of those shots, from way out even. He's a crafty player, using his body on layups to protect the ball against LeBron in one instance, and on others, he weaves around like he has eyes on 360 degrees angle and escapes any defender around him - then shoot and converts. What a talent. And GS wasn't going to let the home crowd go home disappointed. Clippers led mostly late game but GS and Curry found a way to win in the end. I hope to see these 2 teams come playoff time.
This shot, has to be worth 10 points but unfortunately, it's not counted. First time I've ever seen a out of bounds full court shot that actually went in. And oh, it was made by a Celtics player last night. Had that shot counted for 3 points C's would have won.
I heard cheers in Brooklyn's arena each time Kobe made a basket, specially on his first basket after so many tries. Strange things happen. nets still winless at 0-5. That is welcome news for a Celtics fan. Nets owe us their first round pick in 2016. We might actually land another lottery pick.
i saw him too on the highlights and ..God was he spectacular. TBH.. Curry wasn't that sharp in the Finals. That needs to be addressed next time they go there before I bestow him the Title ...
Clippers play the Mavericks tonight in Dallas. DJ is certain to get an abusive greeting after his free agency shenanigans this past summer. Mark Cuban remains bitter.
My lovely wife just told me we were invited to friends for cocktails this evening. However, no way I am missing this game. No cocktail party for me!
His hard work is paying off big time. And his already long range shooting is getting farther even. And he's quite unique, not really a 1 or a 2, can be both and plays tough defense.
We were in Phoenix last night to watch the Clippers lose to the Suns - Chris Paul and JJ Redick sat out with injuries and Blake Grifin was ejected just before half time. Not a great game for the Clips.
We did have a good time at the game, nice people sitting near us and a surprising number of Clipper fans in the arena.
Bad news was that we had a tire blow out after we left the game in downtown Phoenix - there was debris from a truck spread across the freeway and we hit something. No serious issues but had to buy a new tire today after we limped home on the donut spare.
Clippers are 5 - 4 so far this season and apparently have some work to do to get this headed in the right direction.

Sorry to hear bout your flat tire. And the Clips loss too. Injuries are going to tell on any team's season. The team that stays healthy is always going to be there in the endgame.
For a Celtics fan like me, Ray Allen better look like that from now on. We don't recognize him ever since he bolted out and had that verbal agreement in a garage with Pat Riley.
Celtics on a 4 game win streak, and for the first time in the Brad Stevens era, is 2 games above .500 so we green lovers should be relishing it. I think he got the starters right lately, making pint-size PG Isaiah Thomas the starting guard, with Smart and Bradley alternating on the 2 spot. Sullinger, our reluctant 'star', is holding his own in the rebounds department and shooting well after being rumored to be out of the rotation due to summer overweight. My interest is also in watching how the Nets perform, as the C's own their unprotected first round pick. They're 1-9, 'bettered' only by Philly's 0-11.
