Rockets fire McHale after a 4-7 start. Harden is having a bad start as well.
He must have lost the team. I don't think he's a great coach but they did go to the conference finals last year and it's early in the season.

Totally agree and yes lost the team
He has never impressed nor has Phil Collins (who isn't even a good color commentator)
Yet you hear the sportscaster talking about the likes of Scott Brooks waiting on the side lines......from the frying pan to the fire. He was never impressive as well. Just had 3 really good players that won games but he couldn't get them to the next level
Now Thibodeau IMO is another story and he needs a team (like the Lakers) to find him
Good game tonight. Warriors @ Clippers. Though reports said CP3 and Redick will not be playing due to injuries.
Looks like both Chris Paul and JJ Redick will be out for the Clippers. Tough to beat Golden State with your full team, much less with 2 key players out.
Hope Doc is laying in the weeds and both will play.
I also thought McHale got a raw deal. Always liked him.
Regarding Thibodeau, he is a great coach but I don't think he'd be a good fit in Houston. Dwight Howard and James Harden are both prima donnas - they'd rebel against his demanding style. He'd be much better off working as the defensive coordinator for the Clips with his old buddy, Doc.
Missed the game but saw the highlights. Wow, that was some shooting slugfest down the last few minutes. Reminds me of the Hagler-Hearn first few minutes. Gotta hand it to the Warriors, they played like champions indeed. And it would be a fantastic series if these 2 teams meet in the playoffs.
Results would likely be the same. If Steph Curry remains healthy ... We may have the beginning of a dynasty ...
Let's not forget that not only are the GSW 13-0 on the season but let's also not forget that these wins were orchestrated by interim head coach non other than Luke Walton. When they interviewed Luke at the end of the first with the Warriors down about 20, Luke wasn't fazed. He merely said there's plenty of time left and he wasn't worried one bit
Luke was always a favorite son of Phil Jackson and sat next to Phil when injured with his billboard. Everyone said he has great mindset as to coaching so perhaps after Derek Fisher and Kurt Rambis, Luke might become the Knicks head coach. He will be a HC somewhere (perhaps after the Lakers realize that Byron Scott is just an ordinary coach)
Bad sports weekend for me.
Clippers are now 6 and 7 and have lost 3 in a row. They don't look good either.
I also root for Ohio State football and they lost to Michigan State.
Worst news is that both of these teams have no one to blame but themselves.
Good thing sports is just a diversion.......
