New Album & The Beginning of Basketball Season

A sure repeat for MVP. The guy is pure skill

In spite of all this the Spurs are only 3 1/2 games behind

Them Spurs ... Could be one of the best Team Ever.

I just saw the full highlights of the Warriors Thunders game, and boy, Curry sank 12 3-pointers, and that last one, the game winner from near half court, is why Mark Cuban is talking about making the line farther:

But, there's no where to back in up in the corners at 22 feet. They may need to WIDEN the court :D - due to Curry's super shooting. A lot of times, those 3s were challenged with a hand on his face, he just throws it up like it's a discuss throw competition, utterly amazing.

I saw them too. Three points is no longer a safe lead when you are playing Curry/GSW. OKC was stupid. They got the ball out of Currys' hands.Someone else drove to the basket for two_OKC would have maintained the lead. Some idiot went down and fouled him making it a three point play.

Had a superb sushi dinner with the boss, errr, wife and a good friend while the game was recording. I record every Dubs game so that I can play it back later and fast forward through the commercials.

Came home after dinner, dropped the screen from the ceiling and watched the whole game in my home theater while sipping some Ocho Anejo. Great night. Whoever is or was the second best shooter now or ever, he is a very distant second. Not even close. Curry is God.

Well, all those talk in the 80s at how Sixer Andrew Toney can shoot in the dark, Curry could shoot while sleeping. :D Reggie Miller and Ray Allen needed some daylight to evade the 'hand', but Curry doesn't seem bothered by any hand, or any body. :D

Rumor Central - Kyrie wants out.

There must be something out of sync since LeBron returned.

You can see on body language alone that there isn't great chemistry between K. Love or Kyrie with Lebron. Leadership is not about anointed oneself "King". Lebron needs to take a heavy dose of humility pills. The best player on the planet he was at one point.. The current and arguably oneof the best shooter ever (if not The Best . Period) and currently best player/MVP and an unassuming one at that is S. Curry. Lebron was/is unique in many ways but there was no talk because of him to change the rules (there continue to have talks about enforcing the current rules with his 4 s-step trip to the basket and regular charging the defender with low shoulders but ...) .. There are serious talks to change the rules because of Curry absurd accuracy.

As far as rule changes go, I sure hope players will actually work on their free throw shooting instead of the NBA penalizing the "hack a ______".

IMO Best Paer on the Player requires a minimum of years expereince .Lebron remains the best. I like the fact that the MVP has been spread around of late.It should be as msuch a method of oecognition as a reward for excellence. I would add another award .One for MVP and one for Best Player.
All that said, Steph Curry contiues to answer every criticism with ease. I watched the sports shows shows yesterday. The latest criticiam is he could not take a hard foul. He does not have to.He can shoot form anywhere. There is no need to physically challenge anyone.

With respectt to Kevein Love.he is a great plaer who never belonged n Cleveland. No body else was available.

Agreed. And lots of times, I see LeBron playing PG, and down the stretch, he takes control, of everything. Running the play, pointing left and right, what do you need Kyrie's max contract for, when you have JR Smith or even Shumpert, and then Delladenova? I see a different scenario in the Clippers offense where Chris Paul, (as Kyrie should be) running the offense and executing the called plays. As for Love, the embarrassment of talents has brought up Tristan Thompson who can do a lot of things Love does (rebounding and inside moves) to the point that Thompson is now moved to the 5 position to accommodate Love at the 4. Now, if Thomson starts shooting 3s and converting them, Love will have to be moved to the 5. :D

One has to be amazed at 2 entities - Steph Curry and the Golden State Warriors. Curry didn't play last night, nor did Igoudala, but somehow the Warriors beat the feisty Hawks in OT. Deeeeeep bench they have. The team is young, fluid, and in sync. How do you beat that? They're getting better.

Clippers play the Thunder tonight at Staples. Game is on ESPN.

Should be a good one.

Austin Rivers says he is ready to play and Blake Griffin is getting closer - but not tonight.

You can bet that CP3 and Westbrook will be going at it.

Hope the new Clipper, Jeff Green, can help on on Durant - but not betting on it. :)

In other lesser news, the Nets waived Joe Johnson who has signed with Miami. Giving Brooklyn the change to plunge all the way down the the top 3 lottery picks involving the Lakers, the Sixers and the Nets. And the C's own the Nets pick this summer. :D Ben Simmons is a possibility. :)

Clippers have not looked good all night, down by 20 most of the game.

Making a run now but I don't believe they will pull it out.

Well, well, well. Clippers miraculously pulled out the win. What a finish.

Should not have doubted my team! ;)

I have doubted mine for years too, and they're pulling off wins too. Jeff Green has 0, starting with Pierce to form an ex-C frontcourt. :D

I was doing a little Spring clean up in my yard today. Raked up a pile of leaves and uncovered a rattle snake. It must have been still hibernating because it moved slowly. Had to call the fire department to catch it a take it away.

Firemen were braver than me. They had the snake in a container and were gone in just couple of minutes. Routine for them I guess.

First rattler we've seen in our yard. Not too big - about 2 feet.

Yeah, Green was 0 - 7 from the field with 2 rebounds in 17 minutes - not good.

Can't dog Pierce. He's an all time great. He had 6 points and 4 rebounds in 14 minutes.

I've seen only 1, thin and a few inches. I wouldn't touch one that is 2 feet.

I thought they were out of it when they were down 22. Great come back
