New Album & The Beginning of Basketball Season

I loved watching the Warriors tonight easily erase an OKC lead and come back and win huge once again at home for a total of 46 straight home victories which ties the 1995-1996 Bulls. They just toy with their opponent until the 4th period when they become gazelles

'Bullish' on the Warriors. Bulls all time best 72-10. Warriors now at 55-5 with 22 games left. If they lose 5 in the next 22 games they still tie the record, less and they break the record. I think they have a real good chance at it.

Meanwhile, the ex-King is rumored to want to head back to Miami. And only and only him is capable of doing such 'moves'. :D

Jadis

Are you planning a coup? Who's the new King? :D

Lebron is doing his best to not endear the entire NBA fandom...

Frantz,

In my books, King Curry is sitting on the throne. Did you see the other night how he confidently escaped the guarding of Durant with his agility? KD was supposed to be the King-in-Waiting a few years ago, but King Curry came by. Maybe it's the Under Armour shoes? :D

Celtics vs Cavs now. Preview of the second round playoffs. :D

The last play of the second half of Cleveland had James playing PG again, calling the play, and driving in himself, only to have his shot blocked by Crowder. Yes! :D

If the "King" continue to behave like a despot few teams will want him... Too bad Humility doesn't come in pill form

Lakers up 18, around 6 minutes left in the 4th! Wow.

Lakers win huge over GS who they keep to under 100 points 112-95

Steve,

I've felt that on paper, the Lakers lineup isn't that bad to have the 2nd worst record in the league, and they showed it, at least for a game against the defending champs at that.

Nice win for the Lakers. Maybe beating the Warriors will boost the confidence of the young guys on the team.

And Byron Scott gets to coach another month. :D

Problem is it is Kobe's farewell song on the road so Byron plays him and it's sad watching him this year as he is but a shadow of his former self. The kids don't play and raw talent undeveloped. It might cost Byron and Mitch their jobs as a result of such a poor finish

It was an impressive win

The other thing I heard today was Byron's comment that he had a duty to Kobe to be certain he plays his final game in uniform and is healthy up to the final game

With the Olympics coming up I've started watching old clips of USA Basketball from the London Olympics and the last FIBA Worlds. It became so sadly apparent how Kobe Bryant deteriorated because of the injuries in just 3 years and change.

Well Jack, being a Celtics fan, it's easy for me to forget his prime, and I don't really recall a highlight film of his. :D Ok, I remember that alley oop he threw to Shaq for the monster dunk wherein Shaq was struttin' and stompin' his way back to the other side like he's just eaten somebody. :D

While Byron will be gone next year, Mitch may remain. This Lakers' year was to sell ticket on Kobe's back and to get a chance at snagging Ben Simmons.

Kobe is leaving the game 3 years too late.

+1. It's all about the money. The last 2 years was 20+ million dollars for a 15 minutes or so a game. That's quite a huge loyalty pat on the back. Lakers were willing to pay, and Kobe was willing to take. :)

Clippers pound the mouthy Mavericks tonight by 19 points in Dallas.

Doubt that its even possible, but hope it shuts up Mark Cuban.

DJ made the right decision sticking with the Clippers! :D
