New Album & The Beginning of Basketball Season

Sorry, Phil
Terrible game by Kemba. They got him boxed in. And no real 3 ball shooter like Joe Harris. A very thin lineup.

Great game by the Hornets as they beat a powerful Bucks team. Hayward is playing very worthy of his big contract and LaMelo is such a great passer with terrific field vision in front and at the back of his head. Can shoot too. I wonder how and why Ainge has not gotten a Cody Zeller or PJ Washinton type big. His center Theis cannot even make put backs and tip ins. :( Cost them that loss to the Lakers.

I agree about the Hornets however I maintain that the Bucks are not the team to beat in the East this year. Giannis is playing well but going nowhere. There are so many better teams

BTW I feel as good as the Lakers are, they too aren't the team to beat this year in the West but with so many great teams the standings keep flipping. Utah is well in control with an 11 game win streak

Lakers have been playing terrible for their past 6-8 games. Lackluster. Turnovers. No defense

Lakers look exhausted
agree, some players are exhibiting mental/physical/psychological fatigue.

I just shake my head when some ignorant people are commenting that last year’s bubble championship by the Lakers is not a real championship. I think last year and this year’s playing condition are tougher than usual and players with stronger willpower and better disciple will do better than the more talented ones who are weaker mentally/psychologically.

My wife works for the Canadian Federal government, mental wellness is a big thing for them, especially for the ones who were told to stay/work from home. They were provided with numerous resources to help them cope better, with continuous checks. I expect NBA team owners to do the same. Most NBA players are young and very socially active, being told to stay in their hotel rooms is a big adjustment for them. I wonder if the pro athletes will be in priority list to be vaccinated. Some people might look at it differently, but watching pro sports somehow helped me cope better with this pandemic and I know it does to a lot of people as well, so I will consider them semi frontliners

Clippers won a Sunday matinee game vs Knicks today 129-115.

LAC play the Nets in Brooklyn on Tuesday so they better be ready to score a lot ofpoints to win that one.
Looking at the boxscores, I see that Reggie Jackson scored 18 points. That is a good thing for the Clippers. The guy has potential to score.

What a wild finish in the Nets-Wizards game. Nets blew a 5 point lead with under 10 seconds to go.

This is a recurrent theme in the league the year. Frankly I like it. There is little doubt that on any day, any team can beat a much better team. This tends to produce remarkable intensity as all teams are competing for a playoff spot. The league is getting far more competitive. Gone are the days when any team is said to be a pushover.

Bucks have been stung several times by mediocre teams as well as the Lakers, Clippers, Celtics etc

I can't seem to understand why the Bucks have been losing some games. They have a solid lineup. Is it because they don't make stops? Hard to think this because Coach Bud is a defensive coach.

They have far stiffer competition this year in the East and the West. Plus, I truly feel they are far from the best team in the East this year

Lakers finish their 7 game road trip with another lack luster game where they failed to hold many large leads
nonetheless Lebron makes a huge 3 in the final minute and Lakers hold on for the W to tighten the race in the West
