New Album & The Beginning of Basketball Season

Close but no cigar
Batum and Reggie missed those open shots. And Lou, maybe still craving for chicken wings. He can't even make lay-ups.

Go Celtics in the next game on TNT
Thanks. Smart is on the injured list. So let's see if some rookie guard steps up. Warriors still a strong team but I hope the 2 J's score 60 points. :D

Celts hanging in there. Good sign. :)

Celtics win 111-107
Good win though I didn't expect it. Kemba is slowly getting out of his slump and that's quite important for him to be part of the big 3 scoring options.

Same here.
I was kind of hoping for the Warriors ;)

Got a surprise to find out that the Nets are on the number 2 spot with a 14-9 record. I would have thought they were near the 8th spot with a lot of those absences of Kyrie. Guess the sage is working. :D

I thought that was a great win for the Cellts as I truly thought the GSW were going to win. The Celts however were always close and in the game. Tough to see the GSW so deep in the standings

As for the standings in the East the team that has me fascinated is the Hawks at 6th

In the West I am still dumbfounded as to how the Mavs are doing so poorly. I thought they would be further up in the standings but they have been a bust this year even with a healthy Luka

I'm boggled about the Mavs too, Steve. Porzingis is on and off, and literally on and off the games, rest, injuries, whatever. That leaves Luka alone to figure out what goes on, and there is no other 'star' that I recognized in their roster other than Tim Hardaway Jr.

@stephenasmith
is CERTAIN the Nets will be in the NBA Finals. "They are coasting! They're coming out of the East, they're going to the NBA Finals!"

It's not an unlikely prediction and if so there aren't many in the west who can compete in a 7 game series with them

Harden is like a puppy and has given up minutes, attempts etc for dishing out assists. He said "tell me what to do and I'll do it". He can feel the possibility of a ring (finally). Their win a few nights ago showed they can come back from big deficits and Harden is the number 3 and I believe right now that Kyrie could well be the number 1 over KD as #2

Problem is you never know what you have with Kyrie.

Last night he was great against the Clippers with 39 points.

Next week he might decide to take a break for 5 games.

KD and Harden are reliable.

Clippers in Cleveland tonight - up by 13 vs Cavs with 7 minutes left.

PG13 has the hot hand sinking 7 3-pointers so far.

Clippers wrap up their 6 game road trip with a win and come home to play the Celtics on Friday
Is it only my personal impression of Kawhi that lately he isn't the invincible weapon anymore that he used to be?

I mean he can still score points at will but he doesn't (at least for me) look as effortless and irresistible as he was before...

Well. his 3 points shots (which he likes to take contested or not - just like Tatum) have not been falling. There are some 'forced' shots too, so he isn't as lethal as he was in the Spurs years, which was really impressive in the title year of the Spurs, and maybe with the Raptors he just made enough shots with great help from Lowry, Van Vleet, Siakam. Those guys rose to the occasion unlike PG, Harrell and Lou. As I mentioned before, he needs a reboot. :D
