Carl, your WAF needs a bit more work, lol.
Being a slobbo-phile has it's advantages. I don't like too much heavy stuff, so the Epsilons are 80 pounds apiece, and the added BG ribbons are about 40 pounds apiece and pop right on and off, and self center with the magnets on the Epsilon. With all the six surrounds and four subwoofers, it is a modular system.

I have an eccentric and mad scientist system, anyway, so this is another coup for eccentricity (and yes, my wife thought it was crazy AND strange looking, that is par for the course. I was a WAF flunk out decades ago).

So far, though, it has just added to the already awsome-ness.

You may have mentioned it, but are your Duettas rebuilt? If so, was it ribbons plus crossover? You operate them with 211 tubes?

No they were built from scratch, apart from the magnet arrays, which are original Apogee.

Built quality is far higher than original Apogee. Magnets arrays were re-aligned and the speaker is geometrically precise. Component quality is far higher. Structurally they are far more rigid with an internal metal frame and seriously well made stands etc etc etc

So, $80-90k. What's the cost on external xover options? Approaching $30-40k Alsyvox prices?

Tbh, whatever the actual costs of the new Diva, it makes no sense to sell it for less than the Boticelli X.

In 2019, you really have to pay to get top/current spec, all out build quality.

A bit ambiguous. Text gives the figure, "plus xovers, several options".

Actually yeah, it does look like it's extra.

For credibility they should be about $82K if you spec it right with titanium casing etc etc. So we have a $164K speaker then.

Happy?:)

Thank you. How much power from your 211 tubes and what general room size?

170 Watts max from 211s.

Over 500 Watts into 4 Ohms (above the rated spec but in practice the design delivers it) from some 1975 Accuphase M-60s

Nearly 300 Watts from a Luxman M-800a class A/B or up to 120 Watts fully class A.

I switch between them like rolling valves in a Lampi sometimes.

Room isn't big by any means but in my opinion, which is all that counts, they work in it really well.
