These are the new Artesania “The Absolute” racks, designed by Miguel Castro.
They are made from a combination of Krion (the black parts) and Panzerholz (the wood parts).

Seems that all the pillars are made of panzerholz but only the top level has a full panzerholz board supported by Krion.
The other levels are black colour thick Krion boards only.

Anyway I like this style much more than all the previous Artesania series. Very beautiful/elegant!

Wow! I must bring my system to the kitchen - I think I have a lot of Krion there, although the plywood is just maritime grade, no Panzerholz! The Krion factory is not far and I have an agent very close to me.

Anyway the racks look really nice - styled as gorgeous furniture, not as spacecrafts! I must call my distributor for prices, perhaps it is the time to arrange my listening room, then I will be able to post pictures in WBF ...

Definitely much, much more pleasing to the eye than previous Artesania models, have prices been disclosed?

Well-built!

they look very nice.
i like them and much prefer this sort of design over the 'techno' ones that abound.

Are they replacements for the top of the line Esoteryc ?

Are they replacements for the top of the line Esoteryc ?

I guess not.
The top "Master Kyo" carbon fiber model of their Exoteryc Series was launched not long ago.
I saw/listened to it only once at the Hong Kong Artesania dealer.

I guess this Absolute Series may be their new flagship series.

Panzerholtz is the best material you can find for naturally damping resonance. not surprised that Artesania would end up using it.

obviously Taiko Audio combines panzerholtz (in a few different applications) with active isolation and linear power supplies to take things to a very high level for gear support.

As far as I could know, no. For sonics the best is Esoteryc - that is also more expensive.

That's a good news if the Absolute Series can be less expensive than Exo, because the Exoteryc Series is already very competitive among the top audiophile racks in the market.

And I expect that the two series will have quite different sonic characters. :)

There are two new releases !!!
The absolute one and the carbon fiber flagship.
The carbon fiber was on the Avantgarde/Wadax room on Munich.

I think the Absolute will be a lower serie.

German recommended retail (incl VAT):

Master Kyo 3 shelf rack: 24.000,- eur
Absolute 3 shelf rack: 33.000,- eur

So both racks are premium "state of the art" racks, addressing different needs and design expectations .

Wow, expensive!
They are cometing with the top models of CMS, SRA and HRS!

I find it strange that neither of those two racks is mentioned in the Artesania Audio website, whatever the case those prices are extremely hard to swallow, especially when the Absolute was looking to be a more affordable rack.

I am just referring to the current German retail price list

the 4 shelf Exoteryc Rack is shown in the German pricelist for 6400,- eur, so not a big difference or a big increase.
