NFL Start Of Season

Steve

SF remains a superior team, regardless.. Every team will have a day off and the Niners were off today... Still it is time for people to respect the Giants more.. THey have proven time and again that they are a superior team, a superior organization lead by a QB for the ages... He will follow his brother to the HOF, first ballot... The stunner was the Pats losing to Seattle ... The Pats defense has been suspect the whole year .. I am not certain they will go that far without stepping up ... We have to handle it to the Seahawks they are for real and the kid can play ... He is not RGIII, Andrew Luck or Cam Newton but a good competent QB ...

On that, the kid RGIII is unreal... The poise, the understanding of the game belie his rookie status. The 'Skins have found their franchise QB ... My honest question : have the Niners?

Frantz

Simple answer IMHO that the 9ers will
Never go all the way with Smith at the helm

That's why they should have rolled the dice with Peyton.

Seems Peyton preferred the pitch made by Elway over that of Harbaugh ... With Peyton Manning at QB this team would have been scary for a year or two ... AS for the Giants, they are a maddening team to their fans .. They are clearly one of the best team in the NFL when they are to their game, but you can't be sure of what Giants team will show up ...
Next week should be an interesting game ... vs the 'Skins. THe Giants need to win soe division game .. They're on top rightnow but have lost one each to Philly and Dallas.

The Jets played well today ... although it could be said that just like the Saints the Colts are missing thier coach ...
I am not sold on the Falcons their opening schedule seems weak I am waiting to see how they'll play NO, Dallas, NY.. then we'll know how really good they are ...

I'm not neutral on the subject, but regardless of whom they have played or how they fare in the next few outings, this is, in my opinion, the best Falcon team that has ever existed. And I have followed them since 1965.

They should beat NO and Dallas if they are worth much - but we shall see:confused:

In the NFL, as in many sports, it's not how you start the season but how you finish it ;)

Says a Giant fan. The Giants are playing like a Super Bowl Champ. Unlike last season. RG III meets his first division rival. NY football Giants in NY.
RG III ran for a 76 yard touchdown. Speed kkills/

The skins beat the G-men twice last year.

Yep and watched the playoffs at home :)

The rest of the NFL should be embarrassed to let the 2011 Giants win the Super Bowl. Especially Green Bay and the 49ers.:b

Suits us just fine .. The NFL has a weary eye on the Giants right now ..They are supposedly hurting with their receivers, offensive linemen and defense secondary and yet ...

Eli is playing at a very high level .. Could well be right now the best in the league .. Running game is solid, they're raking yards ..

Green Bay looked scary yesterday night ... The offense was clicking ...

Dallas seem to be going nowhere ..Seems like Jerry Jones is the problem.

I think Tim Tebow is the NFL equivalent of Kim Kardishian ... They 're both famous for doing nothing else than ...well ... being famous ...

The Giants #1 pick Wilson is scary. He's already making his impact on kickoffs--and may be one of the fastest backs around now. Once he breaks through the first line of defense, he's off to the races.

Wow. Ray Lewis out for the season with a torn triceps. Not good for the Ravens

Yes as devasting to the Raven's defense as was Cushings loss to the Texans.

Ray Lewis' true value is as cheerleader and player coach. The question is this a career ending injury? A year off may allow all the nicks and bumps to heal. One more year before his son plays for the Miami Hurricanes,

For the second time in a row King Roger has blinked. He gave in to the the REfs and nor recused himself in Bountygate.
