llsaw — or anyone else who has Gryphon Audio loudspeakers:

Do the speaker terminals accept banana plugs? (There is a little hole in the back of the terminals which looks too small to accept banana plugs.)

The Pantheons did, Ron. I'd be surprised if their others didn't.

Thank you for letting me know. It’s funny because it just looks like that hole in the center of the terminal would be too small to except a standard banana plug.

Hi Ron,

The Pantheon and all current Gryphon speaker terminals have no problems accepting banana plugs. If you can check my earlier post where I was testing the Ansuz D2 speaker cables, there are a couple pictures of the D2's plugged into the Pantheon's speaker terminals via its banana plugs.

Do you happen to know if Gryphon Audio prefers sonically the use of banana plugs or spade lugs on its speakers?

I would think spades as their (Gryphon) speaker cables only comes with spade end connectors as far as I know.
