Would like to hear the experiences of anyone familiar with both 2060 and the 3000 series power amps

Well that exactly proves my point then that you have to hear stuff for yourself .
I had a quick read through the stereophile " review " and it is the complete opposite of my impression .

Not lushness , i said sluggish / slow coloured sound compared to what im used too.

Best i have heard YG with was this week on KARAN Master series
If you want SS and need power KARAN is a very good option otherwise Gryphon Apex ( in my view )

Even better...the Vac Statement is also on my pre-amp shortlist☺

Edit:
Can anyone advise me of the msrp for the Fma 1811?
Just out of curiosity...
My Boulder 3060 arrived yesterday, and it is better than the 2150 in every way. The 3060 has complete control over my Alexia V and I was able to hear every little nuances. Major change happened at around 4hrs mark, and there was a sudden shift of sound. I am now able to hear so much more into the recording and it has a level of coherence that my 2150 could not dream of.

When I listened to Waltz for Debby, both on digital and vinyl, which I have listened for hundreds of times, there are sounds that I did not know were there, be it from the musicians or from the ambiance. Moving on to classical, listening to Rachmaninoff’s pieces with Yuja Wang on the piano was breathtaking, the level of macro as well as micro dynamic and details is unheard for me, and music flowed with such ease. To think that the 3060 is able to do all this with only a few hours of breaking in, I am really looking forward to how it sounds in a few months.

I am using the 3060 with VAC statement line pre, and I think it is a great match. The original 6DJ8 tubes that came with the pre is lush, nice to listen to, I would describe it as being slightly dark. When I changed to Telefunken CCA, however, it was a different gear. The Telefunken CCA is super dynamic, and I also find it more neutral. If you do get the VAC, the Telefunken CCA is an option worth looking at.

When the Robert Koda K15ex arrives in a couple of months I will compare the two again.
