Piano videos

IMO, this video lacks openness, life, energy. I find it very flat sounding.

Might have to do with with volume control , one channel was 1 step off
The CAT Legend has 1 stepped attenuator per channel its very easy to make this mistake , Lamm has the same ....a double vol. control ?

I m recording something completely different The Monty alexander trio Montreux live 1976

I guess it’s a rather easy thing to verify. Did you listen to the video and you have a different opinion? Does it represent how your new speakers actually sound in your room?

As a speaker designer posting videos of your latest designs, are you looking for feedback on what we are hearing. If you are looking for feedback on your design work, I think you should start a new dedicated thread. I also don’t know if you’ve listened to the videos before you post them and think they represent what you’re hearing in the room.

Why should he post them to a seperate thread?

I’m suggesting it only if he is looking for feedback on his new speaker designs. If that is the case, a manufacturer, looking for feedback on his designs, has a different purpose for posting the videos than other people on this thread, and he may therefore benefit from a dedicated thread in the manufacturers’ forum or speaker forum and get a broader audience by posting videos of all sorts of instruments, not just piano. It’s just a suggestion, but he has not responded to my question. Without knowing the answer, I don’t know if he would be better served or not.

Ok thanks, I thought it was perhaps to follow a forum policy.

I m not obliged to answer you peter , you are simply trying to moderate.

I only post what i think is a good piano recording,.

Why dont you post a good one yourself and keep the thread alive

Of course you are not obligated to answer, but you did anyway. Thank you. We will just disagree about your video.
