Same song, solid state system…just recorded on an iPhone so the bass sounds poor….


Most of the videos have been shot in iphone or Samsung, and the older iphones are worse than the current ones.

But it is quite nice how Boulder is combining with the horn, it was not an intuitive match. This is worth traveling to listen to.
 
Boulder/LV sounds really good on my headphones. Lots of palpable micro transitions, even through the fog of You Tube compressions and artifacts.

It's CD. You are spoiled by original LPs and tape
You should choose only good video that do system justice. Or you are trying to show the system is transparent to the medium.

I am quite happy with that sound. It will sound better with good LPs but I could live with that quite easily. It is difficult to find the holistic coherence and dynamism and immediacy this system is showing in various videos. I have posted orchestral, vocals, and jazz.
