RADA Precious Phono ( copper )

A quick note on gain: what you need and what sounds optimal can be slightly different numbers.

Something like 66db to 70db gain is common for a MC Phono these days. The Precious is 53db gain ( all tube ) and a 1:10 SUT is 20db so you're at 73db. That's plenty...but a 1:20 sut may sound better or even a 1:40...not because you need that much gain but due to a set of variables at play. On the other hand you can overdrive the gain too

I am on 1:40 myself right now.

@Solypsa any additional information, or listening experience, released on the Precious by now? Little to be found on the internet.

@crosswind sorry for the silence. I need to update my website to include the RADA info.

I will PM you some listening thoughts and details.

Could you share your listening thoughts and details here and not only in PM? This will be much appreciated.

@Bart77 Since I am a sales agent for RADA I don't post subjective opinions - as a bias is implied. Am glad to discuss on pm...
