Rickie Lee Jones last night at the City Winery. Fantabulous. The Moon is Made of Gold: gosh, totally amazing; only wish Rob Wasserman was there accompanying her. Was wondering while Rickie sang Chuck e's in Love, how many times she's done that hit song in concert? So much good material. So many years! Pirates, We Belong Together, Living It Up, Easy Money, My One and Only Love, The Last Chance Texaco, etc, etc. One hour forty five mins of Rickie being Rickie!!!

I love RLJ...always have, always will. She kinda looks like Hot Lips Hoolihan in that pic though...and packed on a few pounds to boot! I have no doubt her pipes still sound amazing! I'm actually quite envious that you got to see her.

I'm a big RLJ fan too. I would pay money to see her in a heartbeat. I just wouldn't have recognized her from that picture. She has blown up like a tick on a fat dog.

I have always liked her music. I missed seeing her a few months ago at a place called Infinity Hall here in CT.
